Moorcroft Kyoto Prestige vase c1994

Designed by Rachael Bishop, this magnificent Moorcroft vase has been superbly decorated with the Kyoto design. The design is based on that found on the gate to the imperial Palace in the ancient Japanese capital of Kyoto. The vase stands 62cm tall and 36cm wide. The vase was produced in 1994 and had a limited production run of 100 pieces, this being no.46 and comes with the original certificate. It is a genuine first quality piece and is GUARANTEED to have no damage or restoration. It does have some crazing to the glaze as is usual for a piece of this age, but is only visible upon very close inspection. SOLD

Walter Moorcroft Big Poppy flambe lamp c1945

Big Poppy was designed by William Moorcroft in the mid 1920s. This piece is one of the few we have seen to have been executed by Williams son Walter. These Big Poppy flambe lamps very rarely come to the market. The flambe is executed to perfection for the Big Poppy design. Even firing with a lovely metallic finish to the flambe. The pottery section measures 12in in height and 6in wide. Recently rewired by the Moorcroft factory with original fittings and a solid oak base. GUARANTEED no damage or restoration. £1895

Walter Moorcroft Flambe Orchid lamp c1945

This lovely Walter Moorcroft lamp is superbly decorated in the Orchid design under a flambe glaze. The flambe has an even firing all around the lamp. The pottery section stands 10in tall by 4.5in wide. It has had a recent rewiring at the Moorcroft factory, with original fittings. GUARANTEED no damage or restoration. £795
